What is Vacation Rental Networks?

VRN is a database of vacation rentals such has private homes, condos and resort weeks that are owned by private owners. As the owner you are contacted directly by the potential renter. VRN brings owners and renters together you make all the arrangements with the renter.

How does VRN work?

Simple! Each Vacation Rental owner has a listing that describes his or her property. Each listing is like a web page that shows several photos of the property, availability calendars, rental rates, and contact information and property amenities. To search for a rental property you need to be on the homepage, and then simply click on the area you want to vacation in and then click on the city. A list of properties in that city will be displayed. You can also do an advanced search by preferences. This is located on the homepage on the right hand side. You can search for a property by number of bedrooms, prices, kid friendly, pet friendly etc. You can e-mail the owner by clicking on e-mail owner. Some owners have listed their phone numbers and you can call them directly.

What does VRN Cost?

VRN is $30 US dollars per year. Each additional listing is $15 US dollars. The first year you list with VRN we give you 15 months for the cost of 12 months.

Do I need a Credit Card to sign up?

Do I need a rental agreement with a renter?

Yes you should have a rental agreement that also includes a cancellation policy. We cannot recommend one but you can find them at any office supply store or online.

Should I hold a reservation for a renter?

That would be your decision. Sometimes it is necessary to hold a reservation for a client for 24 hours or more so a potential renter can book plane tickets and take care of any other arrangements.

Do you have tips for creating my listing?

Make sure you have clear photos and ones that show the property well. Take your when writing the description. Have friends that have been to the property read the description and ask their opinion. You want the description to be appealing but not too lengthy.

How do I respond to a potential renter?

The faster you are at responding to a potential renter the better. If they have sent a phone number it is best to call them. Thank them for the inquiry. Answer all their questions. Give any additional information that may help.

I am already on several other websites should I be listed on other sites?

The more sites that you are on the better your chances of getting more rentals. Not one Website can reach all potential customers. Every site has different ways of marketing and therefore reaching different potential renters everyday. We feel the more you advertise on the Internet the more rentals you will receive.
